This filly is a 50/50 partnership between the Texas Thoroughbred Racing Club and Swinbank Stables, so the cost to the Club is $26,000.
A filly by Khozan, out of Cameron Crazies, by Lion Heart. Bacliff is by leading Florida stallion Khozan, who has produced 12.4% juvenile stakes horses. This filly is a half-sister to a graded stakes winner.

A filly by Maximus Mischief, out of Briar’s Dream, by Stormy Atlantic. this Texas-bred filly showed talent in her workout. She is by a young sire, whose offspring have sold well. The filly has a solid female family, including her third dam, Halory, who was Broodmare of the Year. The Texas Thoroughbred Racing Club owns 100% of Cosmic Mischief.


Summary - Overview
The two Club horses will race for the lucrative overnight purse and stakes schedule at Lone Star Park and Sam Houston Race Park. Both fillies are eligible for the $150,000 Texas Thoroughbred Sales Futurity at Lone Star Park in July and the $100,000 Texas Thoroughbred Sales Oaks at Sam Houston in March of 2024. They are also both Texas-breds so they can run in races restricted to Texas-breds at all levels. It is expected the two-year-olds will earn some purse money in 2023, but all projected expenses for the year will be in the bank. Then in 2024, the purses earned are expected to underwrite all expenses.
